Information you give us

• Booking an Intro Assessment: your name, email, phone number, preferred meeting format, a description of your situation, the topics you choose and any notes you add.
• Contact form: your name, email, optional phone number, topic and message.
• Return review request: the call time you choose, your name, email, phone number, your answers about your business, income sources, estimated household income range, advisors, financial priorities and readiness, referral details, and any prior year tax return you choose to upload.
• Client survey: this opens a form hosted by Google Forms. Information you enter there is handled under Google’s privacy policy as well as ours.

Please don’t send Social Security numbers, account numbers or tax documents through the contact or booking forms. Use the upload in the return review form instead.

Uploaded tax returns

Tax returns uploaded through the return review form are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and delivered straight to our office email together with your answers. They are not kept on this website. We use them only to prepare your review and delete them when they are no longer needed. If you prefer not to upload, you can leave the upload empty and we will arrange another way to share your return.

Information collected automatically

Our server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. To protect our forms from abuse, we store a one-way scrambled version of your IP address for up to 24 hours. The site uses one essential session cookie so forms work securely. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use your information

• To schedule, confirm and manage your appointment and send related emails
• To answer your questions and provide the services you request
• To keep the website secure and prevent spam

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the website and communicate with you, such as our web host and email provider, and only as needed for those purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Third-party services

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when fonts are requested. Links to Google Forms and LinkedIn take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

Booking, contact and return review records are kept for as long as needed to provide our services and meet our legal and professional obligations, and are then deleted.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information submitted through this site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you have submitted through this website by emailing crucialbusinesssolutions@gmail.com.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
